We are very proud of the wonderful choice of school club opportunities open to the children at Carlton, run by a dedicated team of teachers. We hope there is something for everyone. The range of activities is all part of a core philosophical aim to broaden children’s learning and to value breadth of achievement. Our aim is to help children find their personal strengths and a love of learning in all its forms
Children have enjoyed making Chinese Lanterns to celebrate the Chinese New Year.
KS1 Children have enjoyed sewing their own puppets!
We have been working as a team to decorate our new Carlton Values tree. It has taken a lot of time and patience but we are extremely proud of our progress.
Children have been really enjoying learning new skills and techniques in Chess Club. There is still plenty of space if for those interested in learning this fun, strategic game.
In chess club we like to offer children the opportunity to experience new board games as well as chess. They were recently given the opportunity to have a go at playing Monopoly.
The children have really enjoyed the Outdoor Fun club, we played games, tended to the chickens, jumped in leaf piles, got muddy and Roasted Marshmallows. All the children and adults involved had fun despite the weather not being very kind!
