Nurturing our children at Carlton is invaluable. Our aim is to create a bridge between home and school, to create an environment where children feel safe and secure. We aim to give children the opportunity to explore their emotions, develop social well being, learn about themselves, develop and grow. Through nurture we aim to increase children’s resilience levels, develop maturity and give them a sense of belonging. Children will be supported individually and at times as a group, these sessions will be fun, informative, engaging and motivational. At Carlton we believe children need to understand themselves and the people around us, they need to be aware that their actions have consequences and understand right from wrong.
Some of our children recently worked with a Mental Health Practitioner from Northorpe Hall to discuss who they could talk to if they had any worries and how they feel at our school.
