We had a wonderful morning decorating our biscuits as part of our topic on the Arctic. We had to think about what colours we would see if we were visiting the Arctic.
Well done Saplings!
Travelling By Train
We enjoyed travelling to Leeds by train. We had a wonderful day taking in the festive sights as well as experiencing the joy of being in another city.
Children in our class enjoyed creating their own aliens using different materials. They thought about what colour and shape their alien will be.
Look out here are some of our aliens!!!
Exploring Our Senses
Reception children have been exploring their senses. They tasted some different foods and were asked to describe the taste.
The Saplings recently enjoyed going on a Pumpkin hunt to Tesco. They went on a bus and chose their own pumpkins. After reading the story Pumpkin Soup they had their own Pumpkin Workshop with parents. They carved, designed their pumpkins and used the insides to make their own pumpkin soup.
Happy Pumpkin Day from Saplings
