Year 1 enjoyed dressing up as their favourite characters to celebrate World Book Day!
In year 1 we have been learning all about Christianity. We went to our local church to understand Christianity more.
We had a fantastic time using our new VR head sets. We went to space and to the dinosaur land.
We had a non-uniform day to raise money for Beau, a primary school child who requires life saving treatment in New York. We wish Beau all the best, these are our rainbow girls making a small difference for Beau!
In year 1 children logged into Purple Mash using their passwords and username. They created some fantastic artistic pieces. Well done year 1
In Music we have been learning all about the Ukuleles. We learned where they came from and how to play them.
In English we are learning about Hermelin.
In Maths we used ten frames to make number bonds to 10. We also learnt how they are connected to making number bonds to 20.
We baked a delicious apple crumble using the apples we picked from our own Orchard.
We enjoyed celebrating outdoor classroom day by creating leaf and bark prints. We also picked some delicious looking apples from our Orchard.
