
Year 4 practiced their cursive handwriting by writing a famous Christmas Carol.
We created a postcard all about the Christmas truce in 1918.
We have been working at improving our passing accuracy in football. We had to pass the ball under the human tunnels we created.
We became Doctors to help solve a scientific enquiry about the melting points of certain solid products.
Year 4 have been learning about the Christmas truce in 1914 during WW1.
Year 4 pupils are working really hard in their intervention groups to become confident with their timetables.

It is essential that you help your child with their Multiplications as this piece of assessment will be formally assessed, similar to the KS1 and KS2 SAT’s. We chose a famous representative of Black History Month. We then created pop up books to celebrate this person.
We used Purple M ash to create WW1 Postcards.
We have been using manipulatives to help us with our addition and subtraction.
We have enjoyed learning about Roman numerals in maths.
We have been learning about the WW1 Soldiers and their uniform.
It took us a few attempts but now we finally understand number lines!
In Maths we have been developing our multiplication knowledge.
Year 4 became car sales men/women and had to persuade the class to buy their brand new car design.
We are focusing on states of matter. We completed a class quiz and have participated in science activities.
We had fun decorating our buns and cookies to raise money for the Macmillan Charity.
We made African scenery to complement the book The Butterfly Lion.
