We would like to wish you a wonderful and safe holiday. We look forward to seeing our fantastic children back on Tuesday 6th September.

A Warm Welcome to Carlton Junior & Infant School

Carlton Junior and Infant School is a child centered, vibrant and harmonious place. We value our children’s backgrounds, stimulate their minds through exciting learning opportunities and nurture good character traits. We are supported by a strong community, dynamic and forward thinking governors, enthusiastic parents and professional partners. Together, we encourage our children to be motivated to learn and to celebrate their achievements.

I would therefore like to extend a very warm welcome as you browse our school website and hope that you find the information useful, educational and interesting.

We pride ourselves on setting high expectations for all. We strive for excellence, aiming for the best in personal attributes and academic achievement. At the same time, we are truly inclusive and have an excellent track record in ensuring high quality provision for pupils who are vulnerable or who have additional needs.

Nurture is strong and lies at the heart of our ethos and values. Our Ofsted inspection in 2015 graded us 'good' in all categories and we continue to strive towards outstanding.

Visitors to our school frequently comment on the high standards of behaviour, calm and productive atmosphere and the approachable, friendly staff.

If you would like to see the above in action, then please do not hesitate to contact myself or the school office for a greater insight into all that we do.
