On behalf of the Governors of Carlton Junior and Infant School, I would like to offer you a very warm welcome.

On these pages of the school website, you can find out more information about the Governing Body and the work that we do.

The Governing body of Carlton is a highly committed group of individuals who are passionate about making improvements in education. The role of the school governor is demanding but very rewarding and is a good way to give back to the local community

I am a co-opted governor currently but previously as a parent governor, I understand the value of parent partnership and would urge all parents/carers to work with the school and support their work in developing your child. I am passionate about improving the standard of education offered to all children and believe being a governor is the correct platform for influencing positive change.
